Oops I Did It Again: Embarrassing Moments
Every person at CCHS has had an embarrassing moment. Some are just luckier than others.
“I’ve had many, many embarrassing moments,” junior Sean Rosier said. “There are some good looking people out there and for some reason, I’ll see them and I won’t be able to talk, I’ll just mumble. They’ll look at me like I’m dumb. This usually happens every day.”
“I always scream the wrong answers in class,” sophomore Hunter Edens said. “It’s really embarrassing.”
Sports provide a great setting for things to go wrong.
“I was going to tackle Tyson Edwards in a Bolts game, and he stiff-armed me and I face-planted hard. He scored on that run,” junior Dawsen Hayden said. “It’s still embarrassing.”
“I was wrestling and a kid snapped my tendon in my thumb and I got mad, slammed him, making everything worse,” senior Joseph Serrano said. “Not only was my thumb messed up, but I broke my arm from slamming him.”
Some mishaps, are expected.
“When I was on crutches, I had to go down slick stairs,” sophomore Jordan Finley said. “My crutches flew up and I almost fell.”
And then, there are those who really define embarrassment.
“I remember when I was in third grade, my parents told me to go to school, even though I knew I would be sick that day,” freshman Rylie Rankin said. “Right after recess, I threw up all over my desk and the kid in front of me. It was SO gross.”
“When I was seven years old, I really needed to go to the bathroom and we were on the road so my parents stopped. I went pee in this little field right next to the highway and the grass was really tall. There was no one going down the highway when I came out of the car, but when I was doing my business I saw a semi coming down the road,” freshman Joshua Thompson said. “At the time I had a phobia of semi truck drivers, so I dropped to my knees to hide myself from the driver. I ended up peeing on my face.”
So, whether you can’t talk to girls, or you have a phobia of semi truck drivers, you’ll get over your most embarrassing moments…until, of course, you read this article.
